Guitar World 雜誌於2009年7月份在官網發怖了十大速彈吉他專輯的推薦- Top 10 Shred Albums of All Time，經查這份名單最早應該是出自他們的姐妹雜誌 Guitar One 於2005年2月份的專題文章，自2009年1月份起，Guitar World 雜誌開始將已停刊的姐妹雜誌 Guitar One 以及 Guitar World Acoustic 的精華文章發表於官方網站的專欄中。關於 "Top 10 Shred Albums of All Time"，或許當今的速彈高手不見得都會出現在此列表中，但這些專輯兼具了別俱風味的旋律曲調以及速彈演繹的精神，囊括了眾家吉他先進早期的經典之作，有些甚至還有距今年代久遠的卡式錄音帶（Audio Cassette），值得珍藏與推薦。
